Omoto (Rohdea japonica) 'Tamahime'

A shishi variety that, despite the variety of hagei (mutations on the leaves) and the thickness of its leaves, curls its leaves well. However, what makes this cultivar so popular is the gyokuryu (ball-like protrusions) like vortexes and the haneryu (protrusions like "jumping dragons") which are almost like horns on the highly raised sougashiryu (lengthwise ridges all over the leaves).
Sturdy, but too strong light will make it stop growing and its leaves less curly.
