(この商品は米国向け共同購入専用です。日本国内からお買い求めの場合は、3ケタのProduct Codeの最後に「E」を付け足して、商品検索をしてください。同じ商品がお買い求めいただけます。) Omoto (Rohdea japonica) 'Tamahime' no. 3 Product Code: 152 A shishi variety that, despite the variety of hagei (mutations on the leaves) and the thickness of its leaves, curls its leaves well. However, what makes this cultivar so popular is the gyokuryu (ball-like protrusions) like vortexes and the haneryu (protrusions like "jumping dragons") which are almost like horns on the highly raised sougashiryu (lengthwise ridges all over the leaves). Sturdy, but too strong light will make it stop growing and its leaves less curly. Nursery: Nakamuraen (The plant[s] will be shipped “bare-rooted,” without soil or pot, with the roots wrapped in sphagnum moss. If you are participating in the U.S. Group Order, you don’t need to pay for the phytosanitary certificate.) Omoto (Rohdea japonica) 'Shunrei' (峻嶺)
¥23,041
SOLD OUT
(This item is for the U.S. Group Order. Please see below about how to purchase the same item without participating in the Group Order.) (この商品は米国向け共同購入専用です。) 'Shunrei' Product Code: 081 A medium-sized rasha variety that was created back in 1955. The green on its spade-shaped leaves is one of the darkest among all Omoto cultivars. It develops various hagei (mutations of leaf shape) such as sougashiryu (lengthwise ridges all over the leaves), noshiha (both sides folded in), and suzumuhi-ken (sword-like protrusions at the leaf tips), but it takes five years or longer for them to fully manifest themselves. Giving it direct sunlight in the morning (at least one hour) is the key to expedite its growth. The first picture is of a typical grown plant. The pot in Pictures 2 & 3 is about 3.5 inches in diameter. Nursery: Tatetsuen (The plant[s] will be shipped “bare-rooted,” without soil or pot, with the roots wrapped in sphagnum moss. If you are participating in the U.S. Group Order, you don’t need to pay for the phytosanitary certificate.) Omoto (Rohdea japonica) 'Zuisen' (瑞泉) no. 2
¥30,722
SOLD OUT
(This item is for the U.S. Group Order.) (この商品は米国向け共同購入専用です。) 'Zuisen' no. 2 Product Code: 105 Legend has it that when this rasha variety was divided for the first time, the bigger piece was sold for 800,000 yen (about $5,100 at today's exchange rate) and the smaller piece for 750,000 yen (about $4,800 at today's exchange rate). Fortunately for us, this cultivar develops lots of baby shoots, so the price has come down quite a bit. It is now the "rasha gem for beginners." Its beauty is none the less for their current affordability, though. Nursery: Tatetsuen (The plant[s] will be shipped “bare-rooted,” without soil or pot, with the roots wrapped in sphagnum moss. If you are participating in the U.S. Group Order, you don’t need to pay for the phytosanitary certificate.)
