Omoto (Rohdea japonica) 'Tsuru' Seedling
Product Code: 469
A seedling of the well-known shishi cultivar, 'Tsuru no Mai.' It usually grows like its parent.
'Tsuru no Mai' has very curly and wavy striped leaves, with low gashiryuu (lengthwise ridges all over the leaves) and wavy kouryuu (lengthwise ridges). It is also frequently used for breeding--hence 'Tsuru.'
Sturdy. Give it plenty of light and fertilizer.
Nursery: Tatetsuen
(The plant[s] will be shipped “bare-rooted,” without soil or pot, with the roots wrapped in sphagnum moss. If you are participating in the U.S. Group Order, you don’t need to pay for the phytosanitary certificate.)
