Omoto (Rohdea japonica) 'Chouseiden'

A large rasha variety. Wide fukurin (variegation on the edges) will appear onthe dark green leaves. Known to develop sougashiryu (lengthwise ridges all over the surface), kenba (sword-like leaves), and, occasionally, suzumushiken (needle-like projection at the tip).
Sturdy and easy to grow. Give it plenty of light and fertilizer, but control its size with the pot size so that it won't grow too large.
Nursery: Nakamuraen
