Omoto (Rohdea japonica) 'Jitsugetsusei'
Product Code: 471
An usuha variety that descended from 'Ichimonji.' This cultivar with wide fukurin (mariginal variegation) is known to put out more leaves than any other cultivar each year. You can enjoy as many as 8 leaves coming out in a year, each turning into a half-tubular form, when it is fully grown.
There are several cultivars in the Ichimonji line, but no seedling quite like them has been known since the Edo era.
Nursery: Tatetsuen
(The plant[s] will be shipped “bare-rooted,” without soil or pot, with the roots wrapped in sphagnum moss. If you are participating in the U.S. Group Order, you don’t need to pay for the phytosanitary certificate.)
