Despite the nominal similarity, it is actually unrelated to 'Zansetsu.' Rather, like 'Kahoumiyako no Zu,' it is a mutation of 'Miyakonojou.' Instead of zu, it manifests snow-white tora (variegation more sporadic than zu), which is so abundant that it is often undistinguishable from zu.

To keep its variegation bright, it is important to give it plenty of light in spring. Sturdy and easy to grow.
