Nishikibachi (Decorative Pot) no. 41

A nishikibachi is a decorative pot commonly used for exhibitions. Traditionally, pots of this shape were used for Omoto, but the current trend is to use them for Fukiran (Vanda/Neofinetia falcata) and succulent plants as well. This one was made by Airakuen, one of the best known nishikibachi (decorative pot) makers in Japan, if not in the world.

Height: approx. 4.5 inches
Diameter (rim): approx. 4.3 inches.
