The rasha of all rashas. It was named after two men who initially shared its ownership, but you couldn't think of any name that would represent it better than "riki" (power) and "wa" (harmony) combined.

The extraordinarily thick leaves that are wide and round at the tip, with deeply carved kouryu (lengthwise ridge) and gashiryu (multiple lengthwise ridges) among others, typify this ever popular cultivar.

This 6-year-old plant has already developed good noshiha (a leaf that appears as though both sides had been folded in).

Nursery: Nagano Sankoen
