'Kairyujishi'

Product Code: 086

One of the highest-grade shishi varieties. The recent shishi boom (especially in China) is largely attributable to this cultivar and 'Shikunshi.' This is a typical kakumaki shishi, whose leaves turn abruptly in an angular way.

The first photo is of a typical grown plant.

If this particular plant, which already has fukurin (variegation around the edge), develops shima (stripes) as well, like the plant in Picture 1, its value will jump up.

Since this cultivar is rather delicate, do not overfertilize it.

The pot in Pictures 2 & 3 is about 4.1 inches in diameter.

Nursery: Tatetsuen
