写真向かって左側は、「松谷千代田」実生になります。「松谷千代田」は、「千代田」と付きますがそれ自身は千代田斑のない、甲竜、二面竜、雅糸竜などを表す登録品種です。ここから「祝田の松」、「三光の松」、「千代田の松」、「日出の松」、「瑞穂の松」といった千代田系の銘品の数々が生まれたことで名高い品種です。

実生苗ですので、この株はもはや「松谷千代田」ではありませんが、上記の「松谷千代田」を特徴づける葉芸を表す可能性が高く、またこれを実親として使った場合、千代田斑をもつ実生苗が生まれる可能性があります。

写真中央の株は、白斑を表した2才実生苗です。

写真右側の下部は縞斑と甲竜を表した実生苗です。

国内の場合プラ鉢のまま発送します。

This is a set of three Omoto seedlings.

The one on the left is a 'Matsutani Chiyoda' seedling. 'Matsutani Chiyoda,' which, despite 'Chiyoda' in its name, is a registered cultivar with no variegation that manifests kouryu, nimenryu, or gashiryu (single, double, or multiple lengthwise ridge[s]). What makes it so famous is the fact that such masterpieces of the Chiyoda variety as 'Iwaida no Matsu,' 'Sankou no Matsu,' 'Chiyoda no Matsu,' 'Hiide no Matsu,' and 'Mizuho no Matsu' all descended from this cultivar.

Since this is a seedling from this cultivar, it is no longer a 'Matsutani Chiyoda,' but will most likely develop the above-mentioned hagei (mutations of leaf shape), and may produce seedlings with good Chiyoda-fu (white, lengthwise streaks, or green streaks against white back ground).

The one in the middle is a seedling with shirafu (white "brushed-on" variegation) in its second year.

The one on the right is a seedling with shima (stripes) and kouryu (lengthwise ridge).

The battery on the left is a D battery.
