縞斑の入った万年青「松谷千代田」実生苗3本セットです。

「松谷千代田」は、「千代田」と付きますがそれ自身は千代田斑のない、甲竜、二面竜、雅糸竜などを表す登録品種です。ここから「祝田の松」、「三光の松」、「千代田の松」、「日出の松」、「瑞穂の松」といった千代田系の銘品の数々が生まれたことで名高い品種です。

実生苗ですので、この株はもはや「松谷千代田」ではありませんが、有望な縞斑を表していますので、上記銘品に匹敵する上木に育つかどうか、楽しみに育ててください。

国内でしたらプラ鉢のまま発送します。

'Matsutani Chiyoda' Variegated Seedling Set A no. 1 (3 Seedlings)

Product Code: 089

This is a set of three Omoto seedlings (all in their first year) from the 'Matsutani Chiyoda' cultivar.

'Matsutani Chiyoda,' which, despite 'Chiyoda' in its name, is a registered cultivar with no variegation that manifests kouryu, nimenryu, or gashiryu (single, double, or multiple lengthwise ridge[s]). What makes it so famous is the fact that such masterpieces of the Chiyoda variety as 'Iwaida no Matsu,' 'Sankou no Matsu,' 'Chiyoda no Matsu,' 'Hiide no Matsu,' and 'Mizuho no Matsu' all descended from this cultivar.

Since they are seedlings from this cultivar, they are no longer 'Matsutani Chiyoda,' but may develop the above-mentioned hagei (mutations of leaf shape), and/or, since they are already showing variegation, may turn out to be good Chiyoda varieties (with white, lengthwise streaks, or green streaks against white back ground).
