「白牡丹」同様の牡丹芸（葉先だけが白くなり、白い円環が多数現れる）を表す品種です。

写真12月のもので、紅葉色になっています。

This cultivar manifests "botan gei" (white variegation at the tips of the leaves forming multiple rings) just like 'Hakubotan.'
