「紫金襴」の太葉変異種ですが、斑乗りも紅葉も「紫金襴」に引けをとりません。増殖がむずかしく、成長も遅いため、稀少種であり続けます。

This is a variation of 'Shikinran,' with thicker leaves. The beauty of its variegation and fall colors is no less impressive than those of 'Shikinran.' The difficulty of propagating this cultivar and its slow growth keep it perpetually rare.
