岩ひば「白牡丹」（はくぼたん）

「黒牡丹」の派生種で、夏には葉先から白黄色のボタン斑が現れて、鮮やかな円環がいくつもできます。葉全体が白く染められたのち、秋には紫がかった紅葉を見せます。

A variation of 'Kokubotan,' which shows botan fu (variegation at the tips of the leaves forming multiple rings) in summer. Yellowish white variegation eventually covers the entire plant, and turns purplish in fall.
