幅広の葉一面に盛り上がる総雅糸竜の中に、渦潮のような玉竜や跳ね竜が暴れる獅子系品種です。肉厚でありながら葉もよく巻き、非常に人気の高い品種です。

芋がやや柔らかいので過度の施肥は避け、また葉の巻きが悪くなりますので、強すぎる採光も避けます。

子株が2つ出ています。

Omoto (Rohdea japonica) 'Tamahime' no. 4

Product Code: 170J

A shishi variety that, despite the variety of hagei (mutations on the leaves) and the thickness of its leaves, curls its leaves well. However, what makes this cultivar so popular is the gyokuryu (ball-like protrusions) like vortexes and the haneryu (protrusions like "jumping dragons") which are almost like horns on the highly raised sougashiryu (lengthwise ridges all over the leaves).

Sturdy, but too strong light will make it stop growing and its leaves less curly.

This particular plant has two baby shoots coming out, so you can have three of this popular cultivar if you divide it.
