V字型の中立葉で、一見して見分けのつく独特な縞甲系品種。葉先が丸くなり、覆輪の深い肉厚の葉に雅糸竜と玉竜が現れます。

強健で、採光・施肥・通風いずれも強めにします。

Omoto (Rohdea japonica) 'Tankei'

A shimakou cultivar whose thick leaves form multiple Vs with round tips, allowing us to distinguish it at a glance. It also develop gashiryu (multiple lengthwise ridges) and tamaryu (ball-like mutations).

As it is pretty sturdy, grow it with plenty of light, fertilizer, and wind.
