枝先に胞子が手まり状に群生したり、折鶴芸や石化芸を出したりと多芸な品種で、採光強く作ると2年目には軸が飴色になります。「富嶽の虹」などとともに、中軸で幹に黄斑を現す数少ない品種で、現在はかなり本数を減らしています。

This cultivar develops various gei, such as orizuru (tips turning at a right angle) and sekka (fasciation). If you grow it with plenty of light, its stems turn yellow in the following year. Along with ‘Fugaku no Niji,’ it is among the few medium-sized cultivars of which the stems become variegated. There are regrettably few in existence.
