1860年には早くも記録の残る品種ですが、第二次大戦中には絶滅したと思われていました。1946年に再発見され、1966年にまた流通するようになりました。成長が極めて遅いため、現在でも流通数は非常に少ないものと思われます。

A cultivar that was recorded as far back as in 1860, but it was believed to have become extinct in 1942 during WWII. It was apparently rediscovered in 1946, and, in 1966, it was back in circulation. It is an extremely slow grower, so pretty few are believed to be in existence to this day.
