一見「大和錦」に似ますが、紺性（＝緑）はより深く、枝先の斑の部分もより多く透きとおった金色に冴えます。また枝も弧を描いて分かれ、飴色に透ける部分も現れて、1本1本に見応えがあります。胞子嚢は枝先に赤みがかってつきます。

日をしっかり採って育てないと、本領を発揮しません。

Often compared to 'Yamatonishiki,' this cultivar has darker green on the stems and more of the variegated part at the end of the branches. The almost transparent golden variegation appears not only at the end of the branches but also in parts of the stems, each of which curves gracefully and invites appreciation in its own right. The sporangia will turn reddish.

All these features won't be brought out if you don't grow it with plenty of light.
