中程度よりやや強めの採光で育てますが、光が弱すぎると本芸がでません。置き場を変えたりして「機嫌」を損ねると、数年間成長を止めることがあります。

This is a fasciated version of 'Youji Bunryu,' and probably the best known cultivar with fasciation (cresting).

Grow it with medium light on the strong side, but the fasciation will not come out with too weak light. It is known to "sulk" and stop growing for a few years if you displease it (by moving it to a different place, for example).
